Dr. Schlaberg is interested in the diagnosis of viral infections and sexually transmitted diseases using methods spanning the spectrum from viral culture to next-generation sequencing. His research interests include molecular epidemiology, pathogen discovery, and the use of metagenomics for the diagnosis of elusive or polymicrobial infections.”
